As we grow in our faith, God shows us new things about Him and His Word. As such, we update the site on a regular basis so we are always aligned with Him. Part of this includes going back to older teachings and seeing if they need updates.

However, members will not be notified of these changes as they are only done on the backend, with no subsequent update. So we decided to create a dedicated page where readers can check back on all the changes and updates made on the site. At least you won't think you are going crazy if you see your favourite teaching has some extra paragraphs in it!

This list records the changes and updates made to every post on the Love Church site.

[Feb 2026]

  • Released the new version of Exploring the History of Jesus' Name
    • New opening paragraphs
    • Removed legalistic terms of using 'Yeshua' only.
    • Gave more background on the languages that shaped His name.
    • Included points showing the name does not define salvation, and should not be used to cause division.
    • More balanced writing - Jesus or Yeshua, it doesn't matter.
    • Added some interesting things regarding the Hebrew Word 'Yeshua'
    • Included the Nicene Creed.
    • New conclusion.
    • Updated the formatting to Love Church 2025/2026 standards.

[Jan 2026]

  • Fixed an error in Eschatology Foundations - Revelation Starter Pack.
    • Incorrectly stated that Paul wrote Revelation. Corrected to John.
  • Fixed some formatting in Eschatology Advanced - Heretical Religions Part I
    • Some copied text randomly appeared in other parts of the teaching. All fixed
    • Fixed the spelling of the angel 'Moroni'.
  • Removed teaching Exploring the History of Jesus' Name
    • Teaching is being reworded and expanded to remove any insinuation that using the word 'Jesus' is wrong. God speaks many languages! Target release - Q1 2026.

[Dec 2025]

  • Removed The Truth about Tithing - It Is Not Valid Today teaching.
    • Reason: Not fully aligned with what God has revealed to us.
    • New teaching is in the works. Target - Q2 2026
    • This will form Part I of a money series, which will be released throughout the year.
  • Removed Speaking in Tongues - Not So Heavenly for rework.
    • Reason: Needs updating with more examples from Acts, showing tongues can be both earthly and Heavenly.

  • Changed the title of Why Jesus' Name is not Jesus to Exploring the History of Jesus' Name
    • Done to remove any insinuation that using the word 'Jesus' is wrong.
